Glass Tapestry
Glass Tapestry is a technique we use to tell a story. Whether it be to recreate a favorite vacation spot or to memorialize someone's final resting place. Each original design is created by layering colored crushed glass poured between two upright panes of glass. The completed layers are then kiln-fired to temperatures over 1400 degrees F. Additional shaping and details often require additional firings to create these intricate and colorful works of art. Besides larger scenic pieces, we also create lovely small jewelry pieces.
